We are looking for an experienced SAP SD and GTS Functional Lead to spearhead the implementation of the Sales and Distribution (SD) module for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying the SD module to enhance our sales, distribution, and returns management processes.
Key job responsibilities
Lead comprehensive business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with sales, customer service, distribution, and logistics stakeholders.
Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient SAP SD and Logistics solutions, developing detailed blueprints and strategic roadmaps from design through delivery.
Configure and customize core SAP SD modules, including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing (Invoicing), Intercompany, Consignment, Reverse Logistics, Shipping, Credit Management, and Master Data.
Configure and integrate key logistics components, including Delivery Processing, Transportation Management (TM) within S/4HANA, and basic Warehouse Management (WM) concepts.
Design and configure cross-company sales, inter-company billing inter-company stock transfers to ensure proper financial postings and streamlined operations.
Architect solutions for consignment stock processing, including consignment fill-up, issues, returns, and billing, optimizing inventory visibility and management.
Integrate, configure functionalities related to export controls, sanctions, licenses, and legal regulations, potentially leveraging a Global Trade compliance system.
Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD/Logistics and other core SAP modules such as MM, PP (Production Planning), FI/CO, and QM.
Oversee RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) developments, collaborating closely with technical teams to translate functional specifications into effective technical solutions.
Develop comprehensive data migration strategies for master and transactional data.
A day in the life
Lead and support all project testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and data integrity.
Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, configuration guides, and end-user training materials.
Plan and deliver effective end-user training sessions and provide critical post-go-live support to ensure smooth system adoption and rapid issue resolution.
Ensure designed solutions optimize sales efficiency, enhance customer service, and comply with industry best practices and internal controls.
Develop and execute training plans to train end-users on the configured SAP SD processes and functionalities.
