This role sits at the forefront of a fast-growing AI-driven event technology company, focused on transforming how event professionals capture and act on real-time insights. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers across international markets, helping shape the early stages of the sales funnel. You will engage decision-makers in the events industry, identify high-potential leads, and build meaningful relationships that support long-term business growth. Operating in a dynamic, global environment, you will work closely with Account Executives to align outreach strategies and improve conversion outcomes. The role requires a strong mix of outbound sales discipline, curiosity about event technology, and the ability to communicate value clearly. This is a high-impact position where your work directly fuels international expansion across key markets.
Accountabilities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting to identify and engage event organizers and decision-makers across target markets.
- Qualify leads through research, outreach, and structured discovery to ensure alignment with the ideal customer profile.
- Use outbound tools and CRM platforms to manage, track, and optimize outreach activities and pipeline development.
- Build and nurture early-stage relationships with prospects until they are ready for handoff to Account Executives.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to refine messaging, share market insights, and improve prospecting strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure consistent follow-up across all assigned leads.
- Support continuous improvement of outreach processes to increase engagement and conversion rates.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in outbound sales or business development, preferably in US and European markets.
- Prior exposure to the events industry or event technology is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with outbound sales tools such as Outreach, Clay, and CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Strong communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs and performance targets.
- Ability to research, identify, and engage relevant decision-makers effectively.
- Self-motivated, target-driven mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote, and international sales environment.
