This role is a highly analytical and hands-on finance position designed for a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with strong technical expertise in data tools and financial systems. You will work at the intersection of accounting, reporting, and data analytics, transforming large and complex datasets into actionable financial insights. The role goes beyond traditional accounting, focusing heavily on automation, MIS development, and dashboard creation to improve financial visibility across the organization. You will play a key part in strengthening decision-making processes by building scalable reporting systems using Excel and Power BI. With exposure to end-to-end finance operations, this position offers significant ownership and impact in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining finance expertise with advanced analytical and visualization tools.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Lead monthly closing activities, reconciliations, and detailed ledger reviews to ensure financial integrity.
  • Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and management reports using advanced Excel and Power BI tools.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated reporting systems and financial data models.
  • Handle operational financial processes including payment summaries, transport invoicing, RCTI, and intercompany transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve escalations.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis roles.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dashboards, data validation, and complex formulas.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard creation, automation, and visualization.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and transform raw data into meaningful financial insights.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
