This role is focused on managing and growing strategic key accounts within a highly competitive, customer-centric environment. You will be responsible for strengthening long-term client relationships, expanding share of wallet, and ensuring consistent business growth across major accounts. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will coordinate closely with sales, construction, and regional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences from opportunity to execution. The position requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to handle high-value clients, and a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities. You will also play a key role in customer engagement initiatives, complaint resolution, and performance tracking across accounts. This is a high-impact role where relationship management, negotiation skills, and cross-functional collaboration directly influence business success.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage and grow key accounts by retaining and expanding major customers within the assigned region.
  • Drive share of wallet initiatives and identify opportunities to increase revenue from existing clients.
  • Lead CRM activities, customer engagement programs, and relationship-building initiatives for strategic accounts.
  • Coordinate with zonal sales and cross-functional teams to support bookings, proposals, and account growth strategies.
  • Conduct client meetings, joint site visits, and support customers during the sales and execution lifecycle.
  • Handle quotations, negotiations, and contract discussions to ensure competitive positioning in the market.
  • Manage customer complaints, ensure timely resolution, and maintain structured reporting to leadership.
  • Monitor payments and ensure timely collections in line with agreed commercial terms.
  • Track competitor activity and support product benchmarking within key accounts.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and support structured review meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) with an MBA preferred.
  • 10-12 years of experience in the elevator, construction, or industrial equipment industry.
  • Strong expertise in key account management, sales, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage high-value, complex customer accounts with confidence.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue growth and contract management.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proactive, result-oriented mindset with strong ownership and execution focus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
