This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of high-impact, enterprise-grade web applications within a fast-paced, innovation-driven engineering environment. You will work across the full stack, building scalable backend services using Ruby-on-Rails and crafting responsive, high-performance front-end experiences with React and modern JavaScript frameworks. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, designers, and data specialists to deliver robust, data-driven solutions. You will play a key role in transforming wireframes and concepts into production-ready applications that serve global enterprise clients. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Ruby-on-Rails and React
- Build and optimize responsive, reusable, and high-performance front-end components using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Develop robust backend services, APIs, and database structures using SQL-based systems such as Postgres
- Translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into clean, semantic, and production-ready HTML/CSS implementations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, refine features, and deliver high-quality product increments
- Implement performance optimization techniques across frontend and backend systems to ensure scalability and efficiency
- Work with large datasets and ensure efficient handling of HTTP requests, database queries, and application memory usage
- Participate in agile development processes, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration workflows
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in full-stack or backend development using Ruby-on-Rails or similar MVC frameworks
- Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development (5+ years preferred)
- Solid expertise in SQL databases such as Postgres or other relational database systems
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive UI development
- Experience converting design mockups or wireframes into functional web interfaces
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and modern collaborative development workflows
- Experience working with large-scale applications and performance optimization techniques
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, scalable architectures, and agile methodologies
- Experience with data visualization tools or charting libraries is a plus
- Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work in a fast-changing environment
