Key Responsibilities :

Clean and prepare 3D NX models using SpaceClaim and generate high-quality meshes with ICEM CFD or Fluent Mesh for CFD studies on GT Accessories Components (e.g., enclosures, ventilation, combustion systems).

Ensure design integrity, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standard design practices.

Perform CFD simulations and analyses, presenting results in design reviews with chief engineers.

Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams, addressing inputs and resolving technical queries.

Make informed decisions during geometry cleaning and meshing to optimize CFD accuracy and efficiency.

Maintain first-time quality metrics and deliver consistent project excellence.

Technical requirements :

Mandatory Tools: SpaceClaim, ICEM CFD, Fluent, CFX

Preferred Advantage: NX

Experience: 4-6 years of progressive CFD engineering experience.

Qualifications :

Degree: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.

Domain experience: Proven CFD work on components for gas/steam turbine projects or similar heavyequipment systems (enclosures, air filters, ventilation, exhausts, ducting).

Preferred Experience & Attributes :

Hands-on experience in multi-disciplinary engineering teams for Gas/Steam turbine power plants or similar projects (e.g., enclosures, air filters, ventilation systems, exhausts, ducting).

Strong knowledge of auxiliary systems and accessories.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.
