Specialist System Engineer-AV & MS TEAMS
Key Responsibilities
Manage Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), including deployment, integration with Cisco devices, and optimization of meeting room performance
Support AV environments (boardrooms, townhalls, auditoriums) and handle setup, testing, troubleshooting, and live/hybrid event coordination
Oversee Poly Teams-enabled phones and ensure seamless voice integration, call quality, and issue resolution
Provide Level 2 AV support, executive assistance, documentation, and end-user training
Monitor, maintain, and govern AV systems (updates, assets, ITIL processes) while coordinating with vendors, OEMs, and internal teams
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
Hands-on experience with Cisco collaboration and AV devices

Experience integrating meeting rooms with Microsoft Teams
Knowledge of enterprise AV systems (cameras, mics, DSPs, codecs, controllers)
Understanding of network fundamentals (QoS, VLANs, multicast, firewall basics)
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with Teams Live Events / Webinars / Townhalls
Exposure to control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX)
Microsoft 365 administration knowledge
ITIL process awareness
Certifications (Preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
Cisco Collaboration certifications (CCNA/CCNP - Collaboration)
Poly or AV vendor certifications
ITIL Foundation
