Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Manager with a strong background in Agile delivery and financial services, particularly in the Investment Banking and Securities domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with settlements and confirmations systems, and a passion for delivering data-driven, client-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for securities settlement and confirmation platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, operations, and technology to gather and prioritize requirements.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of high-quality product increments.
- Work closely with European market infrastructures (e.g., Euroclear, Clearstream, CSDs) to ensure compliance and integration.
- Document current and future state business processes, and drive process re-engineering initiatives.
- Set and track outcome-based goals using frameworks like OKRs.
- Analyze data using tools such as SQL, Python, or Alteryx to support decision-making and product improvements.
- Engage with AI/ML teams to explore opportunities for automation and intelligent insights within the product.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the financial services sector, ideally within Investment Banking or Securities.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and product lifecycle management.
- Experience working with settlements and confirmations systems, especially in European markets.
- Ability to engage with business/operations stakeholders and document as-is/to-be process flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or Alteryx for data analysis.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their application in financial products is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PM/PO, or Agile PM.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Miro.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance in securities processing.
