- The Candidate must be able to create and execute, or assist and support the Customer (as reasonably required and directed by the Customer) in the following activities:
- Build, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers in physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level incidents and performance issues.
- Manage Red Hat Satellite for patching, provisioning, subscription management, and compliance reporting.
- Support delivery projects by providing technical design input and ensuring solutions are operationally sound.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Network and Security, Cloud, Cyber, Service Management and Customer Platforms to ensure seamless operations and integrations.
- Work closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to support the quality of operations, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with our standards and expectations.
- Document infrastructure procedures, design and configurations.
- Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors and contract consultants
- Upgrade and maintain infrastructure and systems during appropriate outage windows, which may be outside of business hours.
- Perform regular disaster recovery/business continuity testing
- Sustain and enhance the security and compliance of the server environment to meet organization standard, ISMS, Essential 8 and CPS 234 and CPS 230 through close association with Cyber teams.
- Contribute to an ongoing focus on quality, learning and adapting to enable a learning culture and continuous
- Establishes and maintain professional and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform on call duties on a rostered basis
- Ability to innovate and understand new technologies.
- Demonstrates compliance with policies and procedures to effectively operate within People First Bank's risk appetite. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to their role by keeping up to date with communications and assigned learning. Identifies and reports work health and safety risks.
