Job Description:
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
• Design network segmentation for East-West and North-South traffic.
• Develop routing models ensuring all IRE boundary traffic is inspected.
• Deploy and configure Palo Alto firewalls, policies, NAT, and HA.
• Integrate firewalls with AWS VPCs, subnets, TGW, Direct Connect.
• Conduct functional, failover, and performance testing.
• Validate compliance and ensure secure traffic inspection.
• Troubleshoot network and firewall issues during testing.
• Prepare runbooks, configuration guides, and operational documents.
• Support transition, handover, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and architecture teams.
• Participate in design reviews and governance discussions.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security and DR requirements.
Essential Skills:
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, segmentation design, AWS networking (VPC, TGW), routing, NAT, HA, traffic inspection, security best practices.
Desirable skills:
• Knowledge of Okta integration, compliance frameworks (CIS/NIST), logging/monitoring, troubleshooting hybrid network issues. |
