Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

• 8-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence Applications (with majority of that time developing in MicroStrategy and understands Web SDK module manipulation).
• Relevant 3-5 years of experience in MSTR with SQL, PL/SQL.
• Evaluate incidents/defects, investigate, identify root cause and come up with solutions to address the same.
• Experience with MicroStrategy's dynamic dossier, report development, and project design and facts, attributes, hierarchies, drill-down, aggregation.
• Experience with MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Work independently under the guidance of a Technical Lead/Project manager
• Extensive experience with reviewing and enhancing logical and physical database designs and optimization with the Business Intelligence platform and understands relational structures, dimensional data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Experience with application object development, including Metrics, Templates, and Filters, Prompts.
• Extensive experience with client server applications and architectures.
• Proficient Experience using SQL, PL/SQL to profile, test, and report data, Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle DB
• Experience in configuring, governing, trouble shooting, and tuning the Intelligence Server.
• Experience with MicroStrategy Security Administration.
• Sound understanding of Business Intelligence best practices, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, data warehouse and reporting techniques.
