Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

Lead the migration strategy and execution for transitioning content from Google Drive and Google Sites to SharePoint Online.

Assess existing Google Workspace structure, permissions, and content types to design an optimal SharePoint architecture.

Develop and implement information architecture, including site collections, document libraries, metadata, and navigation.

Design and configure SharePoint Online sites, including communication sites and team sites, to align with business needs.

Create and manage migration plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.

Utilize tools such as SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT), or third-party solutions (e.g., Sharegate,) for content migration.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance during and after migration.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure seamless user experience post-migration.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT teams and business units throughout the migration lifecycle.

Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration procedures, and governance policies.

Conduct training sessions and create user guides to support adoption of SharePoint Online.

Mandatory skills

•Proven experience in SharePoint Online architecture and administration.• knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.•familiarity with SharePoint governance, security, and compliance best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired skills

Experience with content migration tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).Understanding of Google Workspace (Drive, Sites) and its data structures.
