"Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on asset management products within banking. Drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize asset strategies through data-driven insights and system enhancements.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, IT, or related discipline. CFA or MBA preferred for senior roles
Gather and document detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements for asset mgmt. banking systems (e.g. portfolio, risk, compliance)
Conduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping to refine workflows in investment operations and asset servicing.
Identify inefficiencies within asset lifecycle management and propose automation or restructuring opportunities.
Collaborate on system transformations, core banking/asset management upgrades, and AI enhancements.
Analyze asset performance metrics (NPV, IRR, portfolio risk, yield), market trends, and client-level data.
Create dashboards and reports using BI tools for investment insights, strategy performance, and regulatory reporting.
Ensure solutions adhere to regulations (KYC/AML, data privacy, SAP, accounting standards).
Support UAT, QA triage, and post-implementation validation for governance-critical systems.
Draft BRDs/FRDs, maintain traceability matrices, and manage change requests during asset-based projects.
Collaborate with IT, quant teams, risk, and operations to test, implement enhancements, and train end-users.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel modeling, BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy), and familiarity with Python/SQL for data queries
Experience in banking asset management: fund accounting, portfolio operations, regulatory workflows, and trade lifecycle.
Understand risk measurement, asset compliance, and asset reporting obligations.
Strong process mapping, documentation, UAT, and Agile/Waterfall delivery. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation ability, and capability to translate technical concepts to business users."
