Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between Line of Business (LoB) teams and IT support teams for AI/ML and advanced analytics initiatives.

Design and develop AI-driven solutions using Python, FastAPI, and LLM APIs (prompt engineering).

Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows using llama-index.

Build and maintain APIs and backend services with FastAPI, Pydantic, and ORM frameworks (SQLModel, SQLAlchemy).

Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite) for data storage and retrieval.

Collaborate on DevOps tasks including deployment on AWS and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.

Conduct POCs for emerging AI technologies and guide analytics teams based on outcomes.

Act as a functional lead for junior team members and engage in senior-level meetings to drive adoption of AI and data engineering practices.

Advocate for data stewardship and ownership across departments.

Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
