UC Migration Engineer
Job Description
Clearly communicate migration milestones, encountered issues, and provided resolutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nParticipate in User Acceptance Testing, Go-Live activities and production cutovers, validating users, features, services, and endpoint readiness post-migration\nProvide change management and post-migration support to ensure smooth transition\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nDeep understanding of VoIP, SIP, PBXs and UCaas/CCaaS platforms\nStrong technical knowledge working with On-Premises Voice, UC & CC systems from Cisco, Avaya, Mitel, Communication Platforms like Cisco Broadworks, Metaswitch, and Cloud based UCaaS/CCaaS solutions from Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams and RingCentral\nSetting up and managing devices and software, such as Session Border Controllers (SBCs), to connect the UCaaS/CCaaS platform with other services.\nHands-on expertise creating user profiles, device provisioning, registration and firmware management for a UC/CCand UCaaS/CCaaS environments\nExperience provisioning, migrating, and troubleshooting UC users, collaboration services, with major UCaaS vendors\nExperience migrating contact centre environments, including agent/queue setup, workflow migration, reporting, and 3rd party integrations\nDemonstrated scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs for user, device, and agent provisioning/migration\nStrong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
