Role : WAS Admin\n\nExperience : 4 to 8 years\n\nLocation : Chennai\n\nKey words : Websphere application Server administrators\n\nDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)\n\nDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)\n\nWebSphere:\n\n- Monitor and support WebSphere Application Server(WAS -8.5)\n- Configure and manage WebSphere cluster, data source and JMS\n- Perform deployment of enterprise application in PROD, QA environments\n- Troubleshoot application server related issues.\n- Apply fixpack and manage SSL certificates.\n- Monitor performance metrics, JVM heap utilization, GC logs etc\n- Strong knowledge of WebSphere ND architecture, profiles, and admin console.\n- Hand-on experience with Linux and shell scripting.\n- Monitoring tool experience with ELK, Grafana .\n- Change management process for planned changes.\n- Knowledge of load balancing, session management and high availability.\n- Work with CI/CD and Config tools like Jenkins,Git, Ansible and Puppet for automated deployments.\n- Patch management and Coordination with infrastructure teams.\n\nMQ:\n\n- Understanding of IBM MQ concepts – Queue,MQ manager, Channels and listeners.\n- Perform health checks of queue manger and services.\n- Monitor queue depths,channel statuses, and listener availability with Datadog and Grafana.\n- Clean up /Move expired or stuck messages on queue.\n- Monitoring the dash boards and take immediate action and provide the root cause
