Job Description

Key Responsibilities\nPayroll Functional & Technical Delivery\nConfigure and optimize Employee Central Payroll including pay components, off cycle processes, gross to net calculations, retroactivity, schemas, and rules.\nUse AI copilots to rapidly generate functional specifications, configuration notes, testing scenarios, and payroll validation logic documentation.\nSupport the full delivery cycle from requirements gathering and solution design to UAT, deployment, and post go live stabilization.\nEnsure seamless integration between Employee Central (EC), Time Management, HRIS Sync, BIB, and payroll relevant third party systems.\nPerform payroll simulations, validations, reconciliations, and error diagnostics with AI assisted accelerators.\nAI Assisted Productivity\nUse AI copilots for:\no Impact and configuration analysis\no Test script automation\no Defect analysis and guided troubleshooting\no Documentation creation and updates\nIntegrate pre built AI services into payroll operations (e.g., automated anomaly detection on payroll variances, automated summarization of payroll runs, intelligent categorization of payroll tickets).\nApply AI enabled tools to accelerate compliance checks, payroll audits, and batch run reviews.\nGovernance, Compliance & Collaboration\nEnsure strict compliance with local and global payroll regulations, audit requirements, data privacy laws, and security standards.\nParticipate in workshops, payroll parallel runs, root cause analysis, and optimization discussions—enhanced with AI supported insights.\nCollaborate closely with HR operations, finance, technical integration teams, and external providers.\nContribute to reusable payroll templates, configuration patterns, checklists, SOPs, and best practices incorporating AI assisted workflows.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nSAP Payroll Expertise\nStrong hands on experience in Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and/or SAP HCM Payroll fundamentals including:\no PCRs, schemas, wage types\no Retrocalculations and payroll calendars\no Off cycle and special payroll runs\no Integration with EC, Time Off, Time Sheet, Benefits\nUnderstanding of payroll posting to finance (FI/CO) and payroll reconciliation practices.\nAI Ready Skills\nPractical experience using AI copilots and LLM based tools for analysis, documentation, test generation, and troubleshooting.\nAbility to integrate pre built AI capabilities such as automated validations, anomaly detection, and summarization.\nUnderstanding of responsible AI usage and the limits of AI tools in regulated HR/payroll contexts.\nGeneral Professional Skills\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills, especially in data driven payroll scenarios.\nAbility to translate business rules into accurate payroll configuration.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills across HR, payroll, and technical teams.\nContinuous learning mindset with comfort adopting AI enabled development and support workflows.\nGood to Have\nSAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP Certification.\nExperience with payroll parallel testing and country specific payroll localization.\nExposure to CPI/Boomi integrations or cloud based payroll analytics.\nFamiliarity with automated testing environments.\nOutcome Expectations\nDeliver accurate, reliable, and compliant payroll solutions using AI enabled productivity accelerators.\nImprove cycle times, testing efficiency, and payroll accuracy through AI assisted workflows.\nAct as a connector between payroll teams, SAP engineering teams, and AI native teams when deeper AI capabilities are required.\nAdditional Information
