Job Title: Systems Administrator\nSalary: 50,000-70,000 per month (DOE)\nLocation: Sector 75, Mohali\nShift Schedule: 8:30PM to 5:30AM (Night Shift)\n\nJob Description\nWe are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our company. In this role, you will take the lead in supporting the current technological needs of our company while at the same time anticipating and planning for future needs. You will play a key role in determining the adoption of new technologies and the design of IT infrastructure.

You will need to be flexible in terms of supporting a wide range of technologies and systems in order to support ever-changing company needs. You must have a passion for providing excellent customer service, maintaining strong security controls, and using technology to enable the success of the company.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nResearch and implement new software and hardware systems after determining requirements and verifying that requirements are met\nManage/maintain Entra ID environment as well as an Office 365 tenant with Office licenses (and their users)\nManage and maintain backup software and data\nManage user access on different systems\nMaintain Azure virtualization environment\nConfigure, deploy, and maintain servers, network, and Azure firewall\nManage remote monitoring and management service used for all end-user computers (Ninja)\nDevelop and apply best practices and related support documentation\nResolve high-level technical problems with minimum supervision\nCoordinate with vendors as needed for purchases, maintenance work, etc.\nMaintain a high level of uptime and performance for IT systems based on requirements\nCrosstrain and mentor junior-level IT members\nManage company telecommunications, including email, online collaboration software (Zoom and Teams), and VOIP systems (GoTo)\nAdhere to and help develop/maintain existing cybersecurity policy\n\nSkills Required\nMicrosoft 365 Administration\nEntra ID (Azure AD): user/group management, conditional access policies, MFA configuration, SSO setup\nIntune: device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, app deployment, Windows Autopilot\nExchange Online: mailbox management, mail flow rules, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, quarantine management\nSharePoint Online: site administration, permissions management, storage quotas, sharing policies\nTeams: teams/channel management, meeting policies, voice configuration, guest access policies\nOneDrive: storage management, sync policies, sharing controls\nMicrosoft 365 Security & Compliance: DLP policies, sensitivity labels, audit logs, alert policies, Secure Score monitoring, Microsoft Defender, and policy management\n\nAzure Infrastructure\nAzure VM management: monitoring, patching, snapshots, resizing, start/stop scheduling\nAzure VPN: Point-to-Site VPN troubleshooting, client configuration, certificate management\nAzure networking basics: VNets, NSGs, DNS, firewall rules\nBasic understanding of MySQL Server and IIS/web server administration\nAzure Backup configuration and restore procedures\n\nGeneral Technical Skills\nPowerShell scripting (particularly for M365 and Azure automation)\nDNS\nBasic Windows Server administration\nBasic Windows 11 administration\nSSL/TLS certificate management\nDocumentation and knowledge base maintenance\n\nSoft/Analytical Skills\nTroubleshooting and root cause analysis\nClear communication with non-technical users\nTime management and ticket prioritization\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies\n\nRequirements and Qualifications\nPrevious systems administration experience (5-7 years preferred)\nFlexible to work in U.S. shift time business hours\nExperience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Azure VMs\nExperience with network traffic performance monitoring and troubleshooting\nExperience managing and configuring firewall rules and network access policies\nMust be experienced with Entra ID, Group Policy, Windows Server OS, and Office 365 cloud technologies\nMust have strong troubleshooting and communication skills\nAbility to function independently, evaluate risk/need, and prioritize work with minimal supervision\nPrefer experience working within an established cybersecurity program that makes use of SOP’s, auditing, IT systems monitoring, and documentation, etc.\nStrong understanding of security best practices, including when and how to use them, password management, data encryption, principle of least privilege, two-factor authentication, sensitive data handling, hardened system configuration, data loss prevention, etc.\nExperience managing enterprise-level backup solutions, including retention schedules, backup testing, time to recover, etc.
