Manager/ Sr. Manager- Land Acquisition

Job Summary\nResponsible for management of all Land Acquisition (LA) and Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) issues of existing projects as well as for development of green field mines/ mineral industry.\n\nKey Roles & Responsibilities\nPrepare land schedule for different category of required/ acquired land (Govt./ Forest/ Revenue & Private land with land use/ inhabitant) in consultation with Local/ State Departments.\nAction plan for acquisition of each category separately, studies and reports required for submission to local authorities for initiation of activities and public consultation have to be prepared and executed accordingly.\nPreparation of Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) plans and compensation packages in consultation with project-affected families, local communities and authorities for approval.\nLiaise with district administration, local bodies and statutory authorities (both State & Central) for coordination, compliance and issue resolution till final acquisition of land.\nHandle day-to-day land acquisition and R&R matters to ensure smooth project operations of existing mining projects in coordination with HR and Administration teams.\n\nQualification & Experience\nGraduate/ Post Graduate with working knowledge of Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R).\nShould have 5–10 years of experience.\nMust have successfully undertaken land acquisition of at least one mining project.\n\nEssential\nStrong understanding of land acquisition laws (Central and State Government Acts and Rules), R&R frameworks, Forest Conservation Act for Forest Clearance (FC) and Environmental Clearance (EC) procedures.\nStakeholder management and negotiation skills\nGovernment liaison and coordination capability\nGood communication and documentation skills
