Dear Candidate,\nLooking for a competent Merchandiser with strong sourcing and procurement expertise to manage the end-to-end supply chain for our diverse product portfolio: Metal jewelry, wooden/metal home decor, craft items. Candidate will be responsible to source quality vendors, negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery, and maintain cost efficiency while upholding our brand standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSourcing/ Procurement & Vendor Management\nIdentify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors for jewelry, home decor/ craft items\nCultivate and nurture long-term partnerships with our valued suppliers\nPrepare RFQs, compare quotations, and negotiate pricing/terms for optimal cost savings\nPlace purchase orders, track production timelines to manage delivery schedules\n\nProduct Development & Quality Control\nCollaborate with product development & design team on product specifications, samples, and prototypes\nQuality assessment - Approve materials, finishes, and samples meeting brand quality standards\nMonitor production for compliance with specifications and ethical standards\nCoordinate with logistics for smooth supply chain operations\nInventory & Cost Management\nForecast demand and manage inventory levels to avoid stockouts/overstock\nTrack procurement KPIs (OTIF, cost savings, supplier performance)\n\nEssential Skills\nStrong vendor negotiation and relationship management\nProficiency in MS Excel, MS Word\nAnalytical mindset with attention to detail\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills\nExperience with sustainable/ethical sourcing (preferred)\nBasic understanding of jewelry and metal (silver/ copper/ brass) markets, including price fluctuations and material trends (not a mandate, nice-to-have)\nCapable knowledge of materials (metals, wood) (not a mandate, nice-to-have)\nKnowledge of handicrafts and artisanal products (not a mandate, nice-to-have)
