Head of Engineering – Next-Generation Mobility & Intelligent Automation Solutions (Including Robotics & Humanoid Technologies)\nRole Objective:\n\nTo lead end-to-end engineering strategy, product development, and innovation in advanced mechatronic systems and intelligent mobility solutions, with strong expertise in robotics component engineering (including humanoid/complex robotic architectures), ensuring scalable, high-performance, and future-ready products.\n\nKey Roles & Responsibilities\n\nEngineering Strategy & Technology Roadmap\nDefine and execute the engineering vision aligned with Advanced Mechatronics and Intelligent Mobility Systems.\nDevelop long-term technology roadmaps covering robotics components, actuation systems, embedded electronics, sensors, and control systems.\nDrive innovation in AI-enabled motion systems, precision actuation, and intelligent control architectures.\n\nProduct Development & System Architecture\nLead end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to production.\nDesign and develop critical robotic components such as actuators, servo drives, controllers, sensors, gear systems, power electronics, and embedded software.\nArchitect integrated mechatronic systems for mobility and advanced robotic applications (including complex robotic platforms).\nEnsure modular, scalable, and high-reliability system design.\n\nRobotics & Motion Control Expertise\nOversee development of high-precision motion control systems and kinematics optimization.\nDrive innovation in lightweight structures, torque-dense actuation, and energy-efficient mobility systems.\nIntegrate AI-driven perception, feedback control, and autonomous capabilities into engineered systems.\n\nCross-Functional & Global Collaboration\nCollaborate with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and cost optimization.\nWork closely with digital and software teams to enable Industry 4.0 integration and smart diagnostics.\nEngage with global customers and technology partners for co-development initiatives.\n\nOperational Excellence & Compliance\nEstablish robust engineering governance, validation protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.\nDrive cost, quality, and performance improvements across engineering programs.\nEnsure adherence to automotive safety and functional standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, ASIL where applicable).\n\nTeam Leadership & Capability Building\nBuild and lead high-performance, multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nDevelop competencies in robotics hardware, embedded systems, AI integration, and advanced mechatronics.\nFoster a culture of innovation, agility, and technical excellence.\n\nCandidate Profile –\n18–25+ years of experience in advanced mechatronics, robotics component engineering, and intelligent mobility systems.\nStrong expertise in actuators, servo systems, motion control, embedded electronics, sensors, and integrated mechatronic architectures.\nHands-on exposure to complex robotic platforms and high-precision motion systems.\nProven experience in leading end-to-end product development (concept to commercialization).\nDemonstrated ability to define technology roadmaps and drive innovation initiatives.\nExperience in managing large, multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nStrong understanding of system integration (mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software).\nExposure to automotive / EV / automation industry standards and global compliance frameworks.\nStrategic thinker with strong execution capability and business alignment.
