Recruitment Lead – U. S. Government Staffing

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Recruitment Lead to manage and drive U. S. Government/State staffing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with U. S. state/public sector clients, managing VMS portals, leading recruitment teams, and delivering qualified candidates within strict SLA timelines.
This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in U. S. staffing processes, visa classifications, tax terms, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the U. S. State/Government staffing recruitment team and delivery operations
Handle end-to-end recruitment for U. S. state/public sector clients
Work directly with hiring managers and clients on requirements, submissions, interviews, and closures
Manage and operate VMS portals such as Fieldglass, Vector VMS, Beeline, People Fluent, etc.
Assign requirements to recruiters and monitor daily performance metrics
Ensure SLA adherence, submission quality, and delivery targets are consistently achieved
Source, screen, evaluate, and shortlist candidates for technical and non-technical roles
Conduct initial HR, technical, and behavioral screening interviews
Draft and post job descriptions across job boards and social media platforms
Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and recruitment database/CRM
Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback tracking, onboarding, and documentation
Manage client escalations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Mentor and guide recruiters on sourcing strategies, compliance, and delivery excellence
Stay updated on U. S. market trends, technologies, and government staffing demands
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must Have:
Proven experience in U. S. State/Government/Public Sector staffing
Strong hands-on experience with VMS/MSP environments and portals

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience handling direct state client requirements
Familiarity with ATS/CRM tools
Experience managing a team of recruiters
Strong networking and sourcing capabilities using Linked In, Dice, Monster, Career Builder, etc.
