The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IB pedagogy, artistic expertise across mediums, and the ability to nurture students' creative and critical thinking skills in a structured, inquiry-based environment.\nKey ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Curriculum\nPlan and deliver high-quality, inquiry-based Visual Art lessons aligned with IB MYP and DP frameworks.\nDevelop MYP unit plans, statements of inquiry, assessment tasks, and criteria-based rubrics.\nGuide DP students through the Visual Arts course, including Comparative Study, Process Portfolio, and Exhibition components.\nFoster creative and reflective practices through sketchbooks, journals, critiques, and formative assessments.\nIntegrate historical, cultural, and contemporary contexts of art into the curriculum.\nAssessment & Feedback\nUse IB assessment criteria to evaluate student work and maintain accurate records of progress.\nProvide timely, constructive feedback to support student growth.\nSupport students in curating personal portfolios and preparing for DP exhibitions.\nCollaboration & Communication\nParticipate in collaborative planning sessions with the IB coordinator and other subject teachers.\nMaintain ongoing communication with parents, coordinators, and counselors about student development.\nSupport interdisciplinary projects and events that integrate art into the wider curriculum.\nProfessional & School Engagement\nStay up to date with IB documentation, visual arts practices, and international art education trends.\nParticipate actively in school events, exhibitions, open houses, and parent-teacher conferences.\nContribute to school life through supervision duties, student clubs, or enrichment programs.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or Art Education.\nCertified IB training in MYP/DP Visual Arts (preferred).\nA strong personal portfolio across various media and techniques (traditional and digital).\nProven experience in an IB or international school setting.\nExcellent classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.\nCompetency in digital tools for art (Adobe Suite, Procreate, etc.) and academic tools (ManageBac, PowerSchool).\nPreferred Attributes\nAbility to inspire creativity, independent thought, and global-mindedness.\nEnthusiastic, collaborative, and flexible attitude with a commitment to ongoing professional growth.\nExperience preparing students for university-level portfolios and international exhibitions.\nHow to Apply:Interested candidates should submit a detailed CV, cover letter, and portfolio showcasing both personal and student artwork.\nLet me know if you'd like this turned into a PDF, translated to Telugu, or adjusted for a specific platform like Gohire & Indeed.\nJob Type: Full-time\nBenefits:\nProvident Fund\nWork Location: In person
