Job / Role title-MRI Design Engineer

Minimum Educational Qualification -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Years of Experience -10+ years in medical device design and development and at least 2 years in design of medical devices for MRI compliance

Responsibilities and authorities: Lead the design and verification activities for MRI compliance of medical device.

Key responsibilities include

• Design of electromechanical components for compliance to international standards/regulations for MRI compliance of medical devices
• Test Strategy and compliance testing of the medical device
• Interface with internal and external partners for defining scope and tracking progress of work packages to be executed externally

Technical:Mandatory Skill :

• In-depth knowledge of MRI Physics
• In-depth knowledge of magnet design

Desirable Skill:

• Electromagnetic simulation

Mandatory Skill:

• SolidWorks

Desirable Skill:

• COMSOL simulation software

Mandatory Skill:

• In-depth understanding of ISO 14708-7 standard for Cochlear Implants

Desirable Skill:

• Product Risk Management

Communication Skills:

• Interface with internal and external partners for work packages
• Presentation skills for concepts and design reviews
