Role: Plant / Factory Manager\nLocation : Chennai, Tamil Nadu\nExperience : 12-18 Years\nLanguage : Should be proficient in Tamil (Mandatory)\n\nJob Objective\nResponsible for overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, inventory, budgeting, statutory compliance, and workforce management. The role ensures efficient manufacturing, cost optimization, timely dispatches, employee productivity, and adherence to safety and legal standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage overall production, maintenance, quality assurance, warehousing, dispatches, and logistics operations.\nDrive production planning, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and plant improvement initiatives.\nOwn plant budgeting and overall Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).\nEnsure implementation of quality systems, safety standards, and statutory compliance including labor, pollution control, fire, and electrical laws.\nLead and develop plant teams while ensuring workforce discipline, productivity, and engagement.\nCoordinate with external authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders related to plant operations.\nReporting Team\nProduction Manager\nMaintenance Manager\nShipping & Stores Manager\nQuality Manager\nQualification\nBTech / MTech / MSc or equivalent technical qualification\nShould be proficient in Tamil (Mandatory)\nPreferred Industry\nBeverages / Alcoholic Drinks / FMCG
