With such a massive population to feed, our product solves a big missing link in cold chain logistics.\n\nJob Description:\n\nYotuh Energy is the first and only company in India to build electric refrigeration units enabling upcoming Electric Vehicles and existing Small Commercial Vehicles to handle cold logistics.\n\nAs Electronics Hardware Engineer you will be-\nDesigning and developing robust electronic systems for applications involving microcontrollers, power electronics, sensors, batteries, IoT devices, communication interfaces, and HMIs - ensuring reliability, safety, fault tolerance, and high-performance operation in demanding environments such as refrigeration systems.\nDefining and driving the overall electronics architecture, including critical decisions related to microcontrollers, power supplies, PCB design, signal integrity, communication protocols, EMC/EMI considerations, protection circuitry, and system-level integration.\nDeveloping hardware solutions for power distribution, sensing, actuator interfacing, communication networks, and control systems while ensuring compliance with reliability and safety requirements.\nWork with Embedded Software, Controls, Refrigeration teams in understanding how the overall product should behave and design accordingly.\nPlanning System Level engineering goals, timelines, and executing on it.\n\nRole offers a very unique and tough enduring opportunity for engineers to design, build, test and scale up a unique product. Building a refrigeration unit that is carrying critical products giving no time till they will perish- demands to have one of the most reliable electronics ever built.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nSystem Design: Capture requirements, define hardware architecture, select microcontrollers/components, and design schematics.\nImplementation & Development: Design and develop PCBs using tools like Altium Designer, including component selection and hardware integration.\nTesting & Validation: Perform prototype testing, debugging, validation, and hardware improvements.\nProduction Scale-Up: Support and lead transition from prototype to scalable production.\n\nRequirements:\n\nHands-on experience with ARM-based processors or microcontrollers, preferably STM32.\nFamiliarity with communication protocols such as UART, CAN, RS232, USB, Ethernet, etc.\nStrong understanding of electronic components including MOSFETs, diodes, capacitors, inductors, regulators, and protection circuits.\nExperience with schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware debugging.\nUnderstanding of DFX practices (DFM, DFA, etc.).\nKnowledge of FMEA, fail-safe, and fault-tolerant hardware design is a plus.\nExposure to EMI/EMC design, testing, and mitigation techniques is a plus.\nFamiliarity with automotive/reliability standards such as ISO 16750, AIS-004, or MIL-STD is an added advantage.
