System Engineer - IT Support

Podar International Schools, Bihar region is looking for System Engineer - ICT.\n\nBase Location: Samastipur, Bihar\nRole: System Engineer to oversee IT for 06 to 07 schools in Bihar and Bengal\n\nBroadly responsible for;\nManage and maintain IT infrastructure across school campuses including desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, smart boards, Wi-Fi and LAN.\nEnsure smooth functioning of school ERP / LMS / online learning platforms , email systems, and attendance software.\nProvide technical support to principals, teachers, admin teams, and students for hardware/software issues.\nCoordinate installation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and preventive maintenance of systems and networking equipment.\nMaintain data backup, antivirus protection, cybersecurity, and user access controls .\nSupport CBSE digital compliance , online examinations, board portal uploads, and digital documentation.\nLiaise with external vendors / AMC partners / internet service providers for timely issue resolution.\nMonitor IT inventory, procurement requirements, and maintain records of assets/licenses.\nAssist schools with audio-visual setup for assemblies, meetings, trainings, and events.\nTravel/coordinate between Bihar & Bengal campuses to standardize IT systems and resolve escalations.\nPre-requisites / Eligibility\nGraduate / Diploma / Degree in IT / Computer Science / Hardware & Networking (BCA / B.Sc IT / Diploma preferred).\n3–5+ years of experience in IT support/network administration; school/education sector preferred.\nGood knowledge of:\nWindows OS / Microsoft Office / Google Workspace\nLAN/WAN / Wi-Fi troubleshooting\nPrinters, smart boards & classroom tech\nERP/LMS systems\nBasic server management & cybersecurity\nAbility to handle multiple campuses / remote troubleshooting .\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\nWillingness to travel across Bihar and West Bengal as required.\nBasic understanding of vendor management and IT budgeting preferred.\nPreferred in School Setup\nExperience with CBSE portals / digital exam processes .\nExposure to computer lab setup and classroom technology integration .\nComfortable training teachers on basic IT tools and systems.
