Job Description
Senior Product Manager\n\nReporting to the Head of Product Management, the Senior Product Manager will manage the lifecycle of assigned products or services to optimize profit and meet client expectations while supporting marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n- Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, and drive growth.\n- Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning through go‑to‑market.\n- Identify product market opportunities through market research, customer profiling, needs analysis, market sizing and competitive analysis.\n- Serve as the key contact for product questions and new product ideas that surface from customers, sales, or market research.\n- Identify and analyze critical issues related to product design and promotion.\n- Translate product strategy into recommendations and feature definitions to address market opportunities.\n- Provide overall direction for product enhancements and general product development requirements.\n- Work with the product marketing department to develop effective communication activities and programs, including product positioning and collateral development.\n- Lead product focus groups and user conference sessions and general industry topics.\n- Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects, including preparation of records of expenditures, research findings, progress reports, and staff conferences to inform management of current project status.\n- Manage the resolution of escalated customer problems and, when needed, escalates issues to other departments.\n- Develop proper and thorough documentation (internal and external) describing enhancements as appropriate.\n- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for Product Management processes.\n- Vendor Management: maintain a directory of vendors, analyze potential future partner relationships.\n\nQualifications\n\n- 10+ years of relevant financial services software experience (support, etc.).\n- 7+ years of financial industry experience.\n- Experience working with project management software application analysis, design or implementation (knowledge of project management principles).\n- Proven track record of product management accomplishments and initiatives with demonstrated success in product launches and end‑to‑end execution of marketing strategies.\n- Preference for experience in consumer lending operations, credit policy, mortgage banking, or financial institution product management.\n\nBenefits\n\n- Unlimited vacation (subject to local regulations and business priorities).\n- Hybrid working arrangements and inclusive policies such as paid time off for voting, bereavement, and sick leave.\n- Employee Assistance Program providing confidential one‑to‑one support.\n- Well‑being initiatives, monthly events, and wellbeing champions.\n- Medical, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, and other financial security benefits.\n- Paid time off for volunteering and donation‑matching opportunities to support causes that matter.\n- Inclusion communities and networking groups (e.g., Women@Finastra, Disabilities@Finastra, Proud@Finastra).\n- Access to online learning, accredited courses, and career development tools.\n\n#J-18808-Ljbffr
