Positions:\nSenior Research Associate (SRA) / Zonal Coordinator (ZC);\nResearch Associate (RA) / Junior Associate (JA)\nLocation: Andhra Pradesh\nOrganization: Pahlé India Foundation (PIF)\nPosition Type: Three-month Fixed-term Contract\n\nAbout Pahlé India Foundation\nPahlé India Foundation (PIF) is a public policy think-and-action tank working at the intersection of\nresearch, policy implementation, and partnerships to advance India’s inclusive development agenda. PIF collaborates with government, industry, philanthropy, and knowledge partners to design evidence-based solutions aligned with the vision of a Viksit Bharat.\n\nRole Overview: Senior Research Associate (SRA) / Zonal Coordinator (ZC)\n• The role involves leading research design, developing training modules, conducting economic\nand policy analysis, and imparting training to government officials at the state and district\nlevels. Candidates will work closely with government stakeholders, guiding District Collectors\nand senior officials on sectoral growth, GVA estimation, and strengthening data-driven\ngovernance.

Responsibilities include auditing KPIs and their correlation with GSDP,\nundertaking data analytics studies, supporting KPI frameworks, supervising teams, and\ndelivering high-quality reports and workshops.\n• Applicants should be pursuing a PhD/completed a Master’s in Economics/Statistics with 2–3\nyears of experience. Strong analytical and communication skills, stakeholder management, and\nexperience in policy research are essential. Knowledge of official statistical systems is an\nadded advantage.\n• Familiarity with Andhra Pradesh and the local language is an advantage.\nRole Overview: Research Associate (RA)\n• The role involves assisting the Zonal Coordinator in developing training modules, conducting\ndata analytics studies, imparting training to officials, and working closely with district\nadministrations.

Responsibilities include supporting KPI tracking, contributing to GVA\nestimation exercises, assisting in KPI audits and correlation with GSDP, and preparing reports,\npolicy briefs, and presentations.\n• Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics/Statistics with 0–2 years of\nexperience. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, basic knowledge of data\nanalysis tools, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment are\nessential.
