About The Job:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Looker Core, Data Studio Pro Administrator to join our client.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the Looker Core and Data Studio Pro environments, ensuring seamless data visualization and reporting capabilities across the organization.
- This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement business intelligence (BI) solutions, administer Looker instances, and uphold best practices.
- Administer and manage the Looker platform, including user access, roles, and permissions.
- Working Knowledge on Looker Core
- Setting up Private IP for Looker Core, VPC N/W’s
- Working knowledge of Looker API’s and Serivce Accounts
- Maintain and optimize LookML models, dashboards, and reports for efficiency and accuracy.
- Working Knowledge on Data Studio Pro.
- Experience in Looker Conversational Analytics
- Monitor and troubleshoot Looker instance performance and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and security policies within Looker.
- Implement and monitor access controls to safeguard sensitive data.
- Support data validation, quality assurance, and auditing processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users for effective utilization of Looker features.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Looker-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Stay updated on Looker updates, best practices, and new features to maximize platform capabilities.
- 4- 7 years
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Looker Administrator or in a similar BI role.
- Proficiency in Looker Core, LSP, LookML, SQL, and relational database systems.
- Experience with ETL pipelines and integrating Looker with data warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Familiarity with Looker API and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
