About The Client:

As one of the world's oldest and largest technology companies, the Client has been responsible for several technological innovations, including the automated teller machine (ATM), dynamic random-access memory (DRAM), the floppy disk, the hard disk drive, the magnetic stripe card, the relational database, the SQL programming language, and the UPC barcode. The company has made inroads in advanced computer chips, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and data infrastructure.
Essential Job Functions:
- Works directly with Banking client personnel as a consultant to support FDIC Sweep program on Agiletics application and support other peripheral banking interfaces.
- Support Check Processing, Image Processing, ARP, Demand Deposit Reporting, Investor Banking
- Analyzes, designs, and develops COBOL programs based upon user specifications.
- Provides technical assistance in solving software problems.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
Qualifications:
Required skills:
- 8-10 years of programming in COBOL applications, preferably banking.
- Must have: Cobol, CICS, VSAM, DB2, 5+ years recent Banking experience
- Nice to have: Easytrieve, Zeke, Changeman, INSYNC, Dumpmaster, Tracemaster, MQ, Assembler, SQL, SoapUI
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with FDIC Sweep program, a bonus
