- We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Specialist – DevOps (Lead Level) to join our engineering team and drive the design, automation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- The ideal candidate will bring 5.1 to 8 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps practices, with strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
- In this role, you will lead efforts to improve CI/CD maturity, infrastructure automation, cloud reliability, and operational excellence.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable faster, safer, and more efficient software delivery while ensuring enterprise-grade security and performance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Architect, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Lead design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps and GitOps practices.
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure services including Windows and Linux operating systems administration and support.
- Manage identity and access systems including SAML, SSO, IAM, and enterprise authentication/authorization frameworks.
- Support and manage virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V for workload provisioning and optimization.
- Implement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Lead automation of infrastructure provisioning, deployment processes, and operational workflows.
- Introduce and adopt AI-driven operations (AIOps) for monitoring, alerting, anomaly detection, and incident response automation.
- Leverage AI-based tools and assistants to improve scripting, troubleshooting, and workflow automation efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, availability, cost, and security across cloud environments.
- Lead incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical production issues.
- Ensure security best practices including access control, compliance, and infrastructure hardening.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment strategies and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging DevOps, cloud, and AI-powered automation technologies to improve platform maturity.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems administration in enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of identity and access management including SAML, SSO, IAM, and RBAC.
- Hands-on experience with third-party security appliances and enterprise firewalls such as Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, pipeline automation, and release management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration concepts (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
- Good understanding of cloud security, network security, and compliance best practices.
- Exposure to AI-driven automation concepts (AIOps) and intelligent monitoring is a plus.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability concepts[Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack]
- Understanding on virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, including VM provisioning, management, and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Platforms: Client Web Services / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud
- Identity & Access Management: SAML, SSO, Active Directory concepts, IAM tools
- Networking & Security Appliances: Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, firewall policies, VPN, intrusion prevention systems (IPS/IDS)
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- CI/CD automation platforms with AI/automation capabilities: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Cloud / Terraform Enterprise, Ansible
- Scripting: Python, Bash/Shell
- Security & IAM: IAM, RBAC, Cloud Security Best Practices
- Observability & automated monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, AI-driven alerting tools (AIOps concepts)
