Security Operations Engineer

Internset is building AI-powered infrastructure for internships, employability systems, workforce intelligence, digital credentials, and large-scale verification ecosystems.\n\nAs our platforms continue to scale, we are investing heavily in security, abuse prevention, trust infrastructure, and intelligent monitoring systems to protect users, organizations, assessments, and verification workflows.\n\nWe are looking for an AI Security Operations Engineer to help us build scalable systems for detecting abuse, monitoring suspicious behavior, automating investigations, and strengthening platform trust.\n\nAbout the Role\nAs an AI Security Operations Engineer at Internset, you will work on building the infrastructure and automation systems that power our internal security and abuse-detection workflows.\n\nYou will help design intelligent monitoring systems, behavioral analytics pipelines, automated investigation tooling, and AI-assisted detection frameworks across Internset’s ecosystem.\n\nThis role combines security engineering, automation, AI tooling, behavioral analytics, and platform integrity.\n\nResponsibilities\nBuild automated systems to detect suspicious or abusive activity across Internset platforms\nDevelop internal tooling for monitoring:\nFake internship activity\nCredential abuse\nFraudulent assessments\nAccount misuse\nBot-driven behavior\nIdentity manipulation attempts\nBuild data pipelines and intelligence workflows for collecting and analyzing platform signals\nCreate internal dashboards, alerting systems, and investigation tooling for security operations\nIntegrate AI-assisted analysis into moderation and investigation workflows\nWork with engineering teams to improve platform-level trust and safety systems\nBuild scalable logging and behavioral analytics infrastructure\nContinuously improve detection quality while reducing false positives\n\nYou May Be a Good Fit If You Have\nStrong coding skills in Python, Rust, Solidity, JavaScript, SQL, or similar technologies\nExperience with:\nSecurity automation\nData pipelines\nBehavioral analytics\nFraud detection\nAbuse prevention systems\nMonitoring infrastructure\nFamiliarity with APIs, webhooks, scraping systems, or automation frameworks\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity concepts and platform-security fundamentals\nStrong problem-solving and investigative thinking abilities\nAbility to independently build systems from concept to deployment
