vConstruct’s Data Science & Analytics team is expanding its Generative AI capability. We’re looking for an AI Developer who can design, build and ship production‑ready solutions using large language models (LLMs), multimodal models and classic ML techniques (good to have). You’ll join a collaborative group of AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Analysts transforming every stage of the construction lifecycle—from pre‑construction planning to post‑handover operations—through automation and data‑driven insights.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nPrototyping – Frame GenAI use cases with experts; build quick LLM-based tools.\nModeling – Fine-tune/prompt models; use ML/DS when GenAI isn’t ideal.\nEngineering – Deploy models as scalable Azure services with CI/CD.\nCollaboration – Work with cross-functional teams; document and demo solutions.\nLearning – Stay updated on GenAI trends; share knowledge internally.\n\nMust‑Have Qualifications\nEducation – B.E./B.Tech or M.S.

in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML or related field.\nExperience – ~5 years delivering production software or ML solutions, with at least 2 years hands‑on with LLMs or other Gen AI models.\nProgramming – Strong Python (FastAPI / LangChain / LangGraph); familiarity with TypeScript or C# a plus.\nGen AI Tooling – Experience with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI SDKs, embeddings, vector databases (e.g., Azure Cognitive Search, Pinecone, FAISS).\nML Fundamentals – Solid grasp of supervised/unsupervised learning, evaluation metrics, experiment tracking (MLflow, Weights & Biases).\nCloud & DevOps – Comfortable deploying on Azure (App Service, Functions, ML, Container Apps), writing Dockerfiles, setting up pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).\nData Handling – Proficient with SQL and Pandas; able to wrangle tabular, text, image and BIM/IFC data.\nSoft Skills – Clear communicator who can explain complex ideas to non‑technical stakeholders; thrives in fast‑paced, iterative environments.\n\nNice‑to‑Have\nKnowledge of construction, engineering, manufacturing or related domain\nFront‑end skills (React, Streamlit) for building user‑facing Gen AI tools.\nFamiliarity with Snowflake, Power BI or Tableau for analytics and visualization.\n\nLocation\nPune – Magarpatta or Baner\n\nAbout vConstruct :\nvConstruct specializes in providing high quality Building Information Modeling and Construction Technology services geared towards construction projects. vConstruct is a wholly owned subsidiary of DPR Construction.\nVConstruct has 100+ team members working on Software Development, Data Analytics, Data Engineering and AI/ML.
