Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technician to support cardiologists and healthcare teams in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining high standards of patient care, procedural safety, and equipment operation within the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Operate and maintain cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment
- Assist physicians during angiography, angioplasty, and related cardiac procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and procedural data during interventions
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection control practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
- Support emergency response procedures within the cath lab environment
- Ensure compliance with healthcare safety and radiation protection standards
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Medical Imaging, Allied Health, or related field
- Relevant cath lab or cardiac care experience preferred
- Knowledge of cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Familiarity with radiology safety and sterile procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Registration or licensing requirements (if applicable in Singapore)
