Senior Manager - Product Planning [Cross Carline Technology]
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Collaboration & Influence
- Partner with product planners to support business case execution and recommend suitable technology aligned with success criteria (cost, perceived quality, regulatory targets etc.).
- Forge relationships with key vendors specializing in advanced technologies. Analyse the technology fit for our vehicle portfolio and build a case for integration in future models.
Act as a liaison with key stakeholders like R&D, Design, Supplier Sourcing Unit (SSU), and CDMM (Component Development and Material Management) to facilitate smooth implementation of new technologies.
Deliver compelling business presentations to senior leadership, clearly communicating strategic insights and recommendations. Foster a collaborative environment, working with cross-functional teams across departments to solve business problem effectively
Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to multi-task and manage projects from concept to completion.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry (either OEM or Technology Tier 1) is preferred.
- Prior experience in strategic sourcing of technology is good to have.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation.
General Requirements
Key Tecnical expertise
- Deep knowledge in SDV, cockpit technologies, connectivity solutions, ADAS functionalities, and in-cabin features.
- Working knowledge of AI and futuristic technologies that can be implemented in vehicles
- Working understanding of mobile applications, OTA updates, UI/UX and customer journeys
