Role Summary
We are seeking a sharp, business-oriented Strategy Leader to drive strategic planning, executive decision support, and cross-functional alignment for a high-growth Business Unit at EXL. The ideal candidate combines management consulting experience, exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, and strong analytical capabilities and should have strong background in Finance & Accounting .
In addition to core strategy work, this role will involve close collaboration with internal marketing teams to align messaging, support go-to-market initiatives, and ensure BU strategies are effectively communicated across channels and stakeholders. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and marketing influence.

- 12-15 years of professional experience, including 4-5 years in top-tier management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, EY-Parthenon)
- Demonstrated ability to create C-suite-level strategic presentations and visual storytelling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excel proficiency required; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
- Experience working cross-functionally, with a track record of collaborating with marketing, sales, and product teams
- Ability to understand and contribute to messaging, positioning, and thought leadership content from a strategic lens
- Exposure to digital services, analytics, or outsourcing industries is an advantage
- MBA from a top business school is a plus, but not must
Key Responsibilities
- Work with BU leadership to shape and execute strategic priorities, including growth planning, operational improvement, and market expansion
- Lead strategic analyses and synthesize findings into clear insights and action plans
- Build executive-level PowerPoint presentations that communicate strategic narratives with clarity and impact
- Develop dashboards and performance scorecards to track strategic initiatives and business KPIs
- Collaborate closely with internal marketing and communications teams to ensure strategic alignment in external messaging, campaigns, and content
- Support marketing-led initiatives such as value proposition refinement, thought leadership, and sales enablement tools
- Participate in annual planning, competitive benchmarking, and investment prioritization
- Help prepare materials for leadership reviews, board presentations, and client-facing engagements
