Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Prior experience in top-tier strategy consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain preferred)
  • Experience advising senior executives on strategy, transformation, or digital/AI initiatives
  • AI & Technology Awareness
    • Strong awareness of AI, data platforms, and digital transformation trends
    • Ability to interpret technology disruption within industry context
  • Industry Expertise
    • Deep expertise in one or more industries (Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, Energy, etc.)
    • Ability to interpret industry structure, value chain shifts, and competitive dynamics

    • Strong structured problem-solving and strategic thinking
    • Ability to translate signals into strategic insights

  • Translate AI developments into clear business implications for clients and EXL's service offerings.
  • Identify high-impact areas where AI will reshape productivity, decision-making, and customer experience.

3. Interpret Strategic Signals for EXL's Businesses

Analyze external signals such as:

  • Market trends
  • Competitor move
  • Regulatory changes
  • Client investment patterns
  • Technology breakthroughs
  • Translate these signals into strategic implications for EXL's SGUs and IMUs, including:
  • Growth opportunities

4. Strategic Advisory to Business Leadership

  • Serve as a thought partner to SGU and IMU leadership teams.

5. Build Executive Credibility with Business Leaders and Clients

  • Establish trusted relationships with SGU/IMU heads and senior stakeholders.
