Roles & responsibilities
This role requires detailed knowledge of business testing and procedures in order to sufficiently perform non-routine tasks.
Role uses initiative and independent judgement to perform work. This role applies broad theoretical knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and/or work experience.
Project Delivery
Test strategy and planning
Define scope and types of tests
Identify QA risks and create mitigation plans
Define scenarios and test conditions and review with the business
Manage testing activities and defect triage discussions
Assign tasks to team members, monitor their progress, and provide guidance and highly proactive in clarifications as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvements working in collaboration with the requirements, development, and project management groups.
Create key QA metrics and mange up and down communication
Interact & collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Facilitate use of emerging techs, gen AI in testing process Identify opportunities for application and drive higher adoption of emerging tech
Quality
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Ensure that the engagements are delivered within budget and time
Ensure that documents are prepared/reviewed with no quality issue
People
Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed and ready to work over weekend if needed
Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct
Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times
This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
CA/ Masters degree in Finance and Accounting with proficient understanding of accounting / auditing concepts as well as testing knowledge
Relevant Industry certification (e.g., CSM, PMP, CBAP) is preferred
Work experience
10+ years of work experience in relevant discipline
Prior experience in finance/accounting/auditing domain is preferred

Mandatory technical & functional skills
Proficient knowledge of auditing and auditing concepts and methodologies
Team utilization and provide learning opportunities
Excellent documentation skills
Expertise in software testing/quality analyst, database and visualization concepts
Good knowledge of SDLC & STLC
Experience in defect creation & retesting
Experience in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Experience In agile methodologies
