Roles and responsibilities

The Consulting - Finance Transformation - Oracle team is seeking a manager to join our growing EPM practice.

We are looking for a seasoned consulting leader who can own end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, lead senior client stakeholders, shape solution architecture, and build high-performing teams-bringing deep expertise in Oracle EPCM/PCMCS, industry best practices, and end-to-end finance processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle EPCM/PCMCS engagements, owning overall solution outcomes across requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and post go-live stabilization.

Drive solution architecture and governance for profitability and cost allocation models (dimensions, rule-set design, sequencing, performance strategy, controls, and auditability).

Facilitate senior stakeholder workshops; translate business strategy into scalable allocation approaches, operating model decisions, and measurable success criteria.

Own engagement management: delivery plan, dependencies, change control, and financials; provide clear executive status reporting and lead escalations to closure.

Ensure quality through design reviews, build reviews, and testing oversight (SIT/UAT), including reconciliation approach, test coverage, and sign-off readiness.

Lead and mentor project teams; manage performance and development plans, enable upskilling, and contribute to staffing and hiring for the practice.

Contribute to practice growth through pre-sales support (solutioning, estimations, proposals, demos) and development of reusable assets (accelerators, templates, standards).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall experience in finance transformation / EPM, with strong recent hands-on experience in Oracle EPCM/PCMCS (multiple end-to-end implementations preferred).
  • Deep understanding of profitability and cost management concepts (allocations, cost drivers, pools, reconciliation and reporting).
  • Proven capability to lead solution architecture and detailed design: dimensional model design, rule sets, custom calculations, and performance optimization.
  • Experience owning delivery governance across workstreams: plan, dependencies, change control, executive reporting, and issue/escalation management.
  • Hands-on experience with integration patterns for Oracle EPM (Data Management, EPM Automate, REST APIs) and basic understanding of upstream/downstream systems and data flows.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to run senior workshops, drive decisions, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated people leadership: mentoring, coaching, delegation, quality review, and building high-performing teams in a consulting environment.

Good to have

  • Experience with other Oracle EPM Cloud modules (Planning, FCCS, TRCS, ARCS) and how they integrate with PCMCS/EPCM.
  • Knowledge of reporting and visualization on top of PCM outputs (Smart View) and storytelling for executive audiences.
  • Industry experience in Banking/FS, Insurance, Manufacturing, Consumer, or shared services cost modelling.
  • Exposure to operating model design, shared services, and costing methodologies.
  • Pre-sales experience: solutioning, effort estimation, proposal writing, and conducting demos/POCs.
  • Oracle EPM certifications (EPM Cloud, PCMCS) or equivalent.

Experience & background

  • Led multiple EPCM/PCMCS programs through the full lifecycle, including discovery, design, build, test, go-live, and hyper care; comfortable leading parallel workstreams and distributed teams.
  • Strong track record of partnering with Finance leadership and business owners to define target-state profitability insights, allocation governance, and success measures.
  • Experience establishing delivery standards: documentation, controls, sign-off criteria, and knowledge transfer for sustainment.
  • Exposure to data, security, and controls considerations (access roles, segregation of duties, audit evidence) within EPM implementations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; MBA/CA/CMA is an advantage.
