Roles & responsibilities
The Director holds accountability and responsibility for the Structured Finance Group (SFG), comprising Due Diligence Lending (DDL) and Securitization. The Securitization function is further structured across three pillars: ABS (AssetBacked Securities), CMBS (Commercial MortgageBacked Securities), and CLO Payment & Tax (CPT).
The role encompasses endtoend management and governance of the teams, driving strategic growth and expansion while ensuring highquality delivery aligned with the business requirements of SFG in KPMG US. The Director maintains executive accountability to stakeholders, continuously identifying opportunities to increase scale and consistency of delivery while upholding objectivity, professional skepticism, ethics, and integrity.

Develop and sustain a deep understanding of GDC's strategic objectives, ensuring SFG alignment. Build and strengthen relationships with key US SFG stakeholders to enable effective communication, knowledge sharing, and crossteam collaboration.
Define the optimal team structure, set clear quantitative and qualitative goals, and allocate responsibilities across team levels to ensure effective execution and accountability.
Lead the annual strategy design for the team at the start of each financial year, establishing the approach to achieve targets and providing clear direction to the team.
Lead hiring and recruitment efforts to build teams with the right skill mix, partnering with resourcing stakeholders to support current and future business needs, and design clear, longterm career paths for professionals to enable growth, retention, and leadership development.
Oversee the design and execution of the training programs for new joiners and existing team members; monitor progress and effectiveness.
Provide oversight of stakeholder reporting, including governance and quality review of the monthly Management Information (MI) pack.
Lead yearend moderation discussions, ensure fair and consistent performance ratings, and recommend promotions in line with firm guidelines and talent strategy.
Act as a mentor and escalation point for team members, providing guidance, support, and timely resolution of operational and peoplerelated issues.
Design career paths for senior team members, including tenured Assistant Managers, Managers, and Associate Directors, to support progression, retention, and leadership development.
Lead the adoption of tools and technologyenabled work delivery across teams, embedding innovation to improve quality, operational efficiency, and market differentiation.
Oversee workforce planning and shaping and build functional capabilities to futureproof the workforce in line with evolving business and market needs.

Work experience
The candidate must have 15+ years of related working experience in structured finance domain
