Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities) |
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for payment functionalities using manual/automated tool.
- Validate end-to-end payment flows including inbound/outbound processing, message formats (MT/ISO 20022), reconciliation and settlement.
- Perform UAT functional testing to validate the new codes are working as expected and regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new changes. Using payment platforms like- Finacle, GBS, SWIFT Alliance, Bottomline, Fircosoft, GPP and test management tools like Client QC, Octane etc.
- Identify and document bugs clearly using tools like JIRA, Octane etc.
- Assist in the automation of test cases where applicable, using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
- Validate payment message (MT/MX) as per user requirements such as MT103, MT202, MT202COV, pacs.008, pacs.009, pacs.009COV, camt.053 etc.
- Conduct API testing and simulate file-based transaction using tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, WIN SCP etc.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
