Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

. The Master Data Manager is responsible for defining and enforcing master data governance, managing the transportation master data strategy across the global manufacturing & spare part operations with major hubs in US & Asia, and leading a team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of TMS data. This includes defining the overall strategy for data migration in terms of collection, transformation and pre / post load validation of the master data specific to the business scenarios specifically for rate / tariff management.

1. Define and implement master data management framework across transportation functions & flows involving Inbound, Outbound, In-Network & Returns

2. Develop business specific data transformation rules based on the business scenarios, constraints and carrier contracts

3. Responsible for rate / data upload and rate / data validation process ensuring availability of accurate data for testing cycles

4. Oversee rate / data maintenance to guarantee data integrity and compliance with aligned business rules / constraints based on the rate contracts

5. Ensure data readiness for various phases of implementation including unit testing, product testing, user acceptance testing and cutover

6. Enhance the process in Master Data set up by analyzing the present ways of data collection, transformation, validation and configuration and suggesting appropriate improvements to ensure high quality in master data set up and process

7. Support multiple rollouts globally as end-to-end MDM work stream Lead

8. Prepare Master Data transition approach and plan for client to ensure smooth execution of business operations post go-live

9. Manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams involving internal & external stakeholders

10. Participate in different design workshops from an MDM perspective and conduct client workshops with their different functional teams

11. Mentor & groom MDM resources to ensure continuous delivery of business requirements

4-5 years of experience in Logistics and/or Fulfillment data management & led 1-2 global implementations as an MDM Lead. Experience with Semiconductor & High-Tech Industry is a big plus

Proven experience with BY TMS (Blue Yonder) or other TMS platforms

Experience in master data design for complex business scenarios like backhaul, commodity incompatibilities, slab-based tariffs, multiple accessorial etc. and for different mode types

Advanced knowledge of BY TMS modules

Working knowledge of different transportation master data elements in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems

Proficiency and hands-on experience in SQL
