Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities) |
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and data models using Snowflake and work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performance data solutions.
Responsibility :
- Investigate root cause of Snowflake related incidents and keep Service Now tickets updated. Engagement with business stakeholders for root cause analysis in upstream systems and to drive issue resolution when required.
- Work with the Dev team to implement incident fix, raise Service Now change as per Client change management process, engage with business stakeholders for PVT
- Key/pair rotation for Snowflake service accounts every 6 months. Work with upstream/downstream systems to exchange keys and store them in CyberArk
- Collaborate with data analysts to understand their platform requirements and support their needs: configure new Snowflake access controls/warehouses/roles or update configurations to support upcoming features released by Snowflake
- Works with Stakeholder engineers to update Azure AD SCIM security keys for Snowflake and Monte Carlo
- Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing Snowflake environments to improve performance and reduce costs
- Refresh of Snowflake databases/schemas from the Landing layer, S3 buckets or via truncate/reload mechanisms as required
- Management of stored procedures designed to ingest data from APIs: upgrade python versions or update API versions once the old versions are deprecated in collaboration with the Dev team
- Monitoring of PII Data Masking dashboard and send weekly non-compliance report to affected stakeholders
- Weekly reporting of data observability stats, including number of incidents tracked in Monte Carlo, number of alerts not investigated yet, incidents investigated in the past week
- Manual uploads into reference tables as required time to time.
- Perform handover to operations activities and update the Ops Manual in Confluence for new assets deployed in Production in Snowflake
- Attend weekly operations meeting to align on priorities and discuss issues encountered during that week and their resolution.
- Small enhancements as per the priority and capacity

- Monitoring of ingestion pipelines in Snowflake, DBT and CI/CD via Monte Carlo.
