Job Title – Assistant Manager/Manager - Fin Ops
Location - Delhi- India
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports as per applicable regulatory requirements from license regulators across multiple jurisdictions.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data used for regulatory filings.
Track regulatory reporting timelines and ensure adherence to defined SLAs.
Identify potential compliance gaps and proactively escalate risks.
Assist in internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit queries.
Develop and maintain SOPs for regulatory reporting workflows and approval protocols.
2. Rail controllership
Own end-to-end reconciliation across payment rails (UPI, Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, Cross-border rails, etc.) for both costs and transactions including setup and monitoring of the finrecon system
Support automation initiatives to improve reconciliation accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure 100% of rail balances are reconciled
3. Rail Escalations & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary escalation point for rail-related operational issues.
Coordinate with banks, processors, networks, and PSP partners for issue resolution.
Work closely with Tech, Product, and Business teams to investigate transaction failures or reconciliation breaks.
Requirements:
Atleast 6-10 years of experience in Operations of Payment Gateway / E-wallet/ Fintech firm.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Strong MS-Excel and documentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in working with multiple internal stakeholders in a matrix organisation
Problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with an ability to organize and work independently with rapidly changing priorities.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Proactive, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple ongoing obligations.
