Senior Product Manager - Technical, Alexa Smart Home Visual Experiences
Job Description
Product Manager - Tech to improve the quality (reliability, performance etc.) of the SH GUI experience, including improving data reporting, and devising the SH CX scope on Metis (web‑based Alexa). Our team is focused on leveraging new technology to make life at home more convenient, secure, and sustainable through automation.\n\nAs Sr. Product Manager - Tech, you will develop a consumer‑focused product vision, run day‑to‑day execution for various initiatives.
In this role, you will go deep on GUI quality related issues our customers face and define metrics and benchmarks for improving the quality bar. You will also define requirements for SH experience on lead execution for new Multimodal devices. You will work across engineering, data science, user experience, user research, go‑to‑market, and cross‑organization stakeholders to bring your product from ideation to launch.\n\nYou will launch new products globally by adapting and scaling them across a range of geographies.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and data, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be motivated by a fast‑paced and entrepreneurial environment.\n\nKey Job Responsibilities\n\n- Define the CX quality bar across all endpoints on SH GUI\n- Support requirements definition and execution on new Multimodals\n- Lead business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications\n- Drive prioritization and trade‑offs among customer experience, cost, and timelines\n- Work closely with engineering teams, and program management to deliver products to market\n- Drive product launches including working with marketing team, executives, and other product management team members\n\nQualifications\n\n- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience\n- Bachelor’s degree\n- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product\n- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition\n- Experience with end‑to‑end product delivery\n- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product\n- Experience managing technical products or online services\n- Experience with data deep dives and KPI definition\n\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
