Job Title: Senior Python Backend Developer\nYears of exp: 6-12 Years\n\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking a skilled Senior Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in backend application development, scalable architecture design, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python-based web frameworks, REST API development, relational databases, and performance optimization. Exposure to cloud platforms and machine learning concepts will be an added advantage.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and web applications using Python.\nDevelop RESTful APIs and backend microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI or similar.\nBuild efficient and reusable code with focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.\nWork with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including ORM implementation and query optimization.\nPerform application performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.\nProcess and analyze data using libraries such as Pandas.\nWrite unit tests and ensure high-quality, stable, and secure application development.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and prioritize feature requests.\nParticipate in software architecture design, code reviews, and technical documentation.\nContinuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and development best practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.\nStrong proficiency in Python programming and backend web application development.\nHands-on experience with at least one Python backend framework such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.\nStrong understanding of relational databases and ORM concepts, preferably PostgreSQL.\nGood knowledge of Linux environments and software development practices in Linux.\nSolid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, networking, operating systems, and databases.\nExperience in software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.\nStrong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms, especially serverless computing services.\nExposure to multiple programming languages or full-stack development.\nBasic understanding of Machine Learning concepts and workflows.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.\nGood verbal and written communication skills in English.
