HIRING for ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - SCHOOL OF COMPUTER SCIENCES\n\nDOMAIN - CYBER SECURITY\n\nResponsible for teaching, research, and service in their designated field of expertise within the academic department. The role requires a strong commitment to student success, scholarly activity, and service to the department and university.\nKey Responsibilities for\nTeaching:\n• Delivering high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials.\n• Developing course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.\n• Providing academic support and guidance to students.\n• Evaluating student performance fairly and providing constructive feedback.\n• Keeping up to date with developments in the field and integrating them into teaching.\n• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise.\n• Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment that facilitates student learning.\n• Evaluate and grade student work, provide feedback, and maintain accurate and timely records of student progress.\n• Participate in course and curriculum development, including updating and revising course materials and assessments.\nResearch:\n• Conduct original research in their field of expertise and publish scholarly articles, books, and/or other creative works.\n• Seek external funding to support research projects.\n• Collaborate with colleagues within and outside the department to promote research activities.\n• Mentor and advise graduate students on research projects.\nService:\n• Participate in service activities within the department, college, and university.\n• Participate in departmental and university committees.\n• Engage in professional development activities and stay current in their field of expertise.\n• Build and maintain relationships with community partners to promote the university and department.\nQualifications:\n• PhD degree in the relevant field\n• Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels.\n• A record of scholarly research and publication in the relevant field.\n• Strong written and verbal communication skills.\n• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within and outside the department.\n\npls email at [email protected].\nin
