IS Project Manager - CLM Implementation\n\nCore Job Responsibilities\n1. CLM Tool Selection & Vendor Governance Oversight\nLead the end-to-end CLM tool selection lifecycle in partnership with the BA, legal, finance, and procurement teams; define formal tool selection criteria, evaluation frameworks, and scoring rubrics tailored to enterprise contract management needs, compliance mandates, and scalability requirements.\nOversee vendor shortlisting, RFP/RFI development and distribution, vendor demo coordination, reference checks, and cost-benefit analysis; validate vendor capabilities for CLM core modules, integration readiness, security compliance, and post-implementation support.\nNegotiate vendor contracts, licensing terms, SLA commitments, and implementation timelines; mitigate vendor-related risks and resolve contractual disputes throughout the selection and implementation phase.\nPresent tool selection recommendations and business cases to executive stakeholders (C-suite, IT leadership, legal department) for final approval.\n2. End-to-End CLM Project Management & Delivery\nDevelop and maintain detailed project charters, project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), risk registers, budget forecasts, and milestone timelines for the full CLM implementation lifecycle (discovery, tool setup, configuration, testing, deployment, training, post-go-live stabilization).\nManage cross-functional project teams including BAs, IT developers, system integrators, legal counsel, finance, procurement, end-users, and external vendor resources; align team efforts with project scope, timelines, and budget constraints.\nOversee system configuration, data migration (legacy contract data to new CLM tool), integration with existing enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, e-signature platforms, document management systems), and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination.\nMonitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks and risks, and implement corrective action plans to keep the project on schedule and within budget; escalate critical issues to executive leadership promptly.\nManage change management initiatives for CLM adoption, including stakeholder communication, organizational change impact assessments, and mitigation of user resistance to new processes.\nLead post-go-live support, stabilization, and project closure activities; conduct project retrospectives, document lessons learned, and ensure knowledge transfer to internal IT and business teams for long-term system maintenance.\n3.

Stakeholder & Compliance Management\nServe as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders regarding CLM project status, deliverables, and expectations; facilitate regular steering committee meetings and status updates.\nEnsure the CLM implementation and selected tool adhere to enterprise IT security standards, data privacy regulations, legal compliance requirements, and internal audit policies.\nManage project scope creep through formal change control processes and validate all scope adjustments with key stakeholders.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Competencies\nMandatory Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.\nMinimum 5-7 years of professional experience as an IT/IS Project Manager, with a proven track record of leading enterprise SaaS software implementation projects (CLM, contract management, or legal tech implementation experience is highly preferred).\nDemonstrated experience leading enterprise software tool selection and RFP/RFI processes for business-critical applications, including vendor evaluation and negotiation.\nFormal project management certification: PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM, or PRINCE2 certification is required.\nHands-on experience with project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) and collaboration platforms.\nWorking knowledge of CLM core functionalities, contract lifecycle processes, and common integrations (CRM, ERP, e-signature tools like DocuSign/Adobe Sign).\nStrong understanding of IT project governance, risk management, budget management, and change management principles.\n\nPreferred Qualifications & Soft Skills\nDirect experience implementing major CLM platforms (e.g., Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management, Icertis, Agiloft, Conga Contracts, SAP Ariba Contracts).\nExperience working with legal, finance, and procurement teams on contract compliance and process optimization.\nExceptional leadership, cross-functional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
