About The Job:
Job Title: Logistics Super User Specialist Shipment Portal support (US Shift Timing to be followed)
Position summary
Client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Super User Specialist that serves as liaison between non ERP shipment requestor and logistic team to promote shipment requests in Shipment portal and assure shipment documents processed successfully to support shipment process effectively.
Key Responsibilities :-
Receive and review Shipment Request from requestor
Create Shipment Request in Shipment Portal
Identify correct Organization code per request
Create new ship-to-party whenever needed
Create a new Item whenever needed
To plan, schedule, monitor and follow up closely on shipment requests dashboard and push to ensure shipments get all required documents and goes out on timely manner.
Contact via phone and email with business partners (requestors/ GTO/ transportation team/ receivers, etc....) regarding clarifications, missing details, and other needful information to fulfill shipment requests.
Monitor approval steps and send reminders to stakeholders as needed
Providing guidance to users to prepare shipments for pickup
Support the maintenance of shipment portal databases and documentation
Contribute to process improvements in Shipment portal operations
Assist in customs guidelines and classification of goods
Stay up to date with changes in Global trade regulations
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor s degree in business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in handling logistics operations, import/export documentation and international trade.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Forward and Revers Logistics, Cross Country Border Customs requirements, Trade policy, Customs Procedures, Customs regulations, INCOTERMS and Courier and Cargo package handlings.
Strong understanding of Import / Export documentation, Customs Clearance Procedures.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with logistic teams, external and internal stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing documents and ensuring compliance with complex regulations.
Additional Skills and Attributes
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
Team players with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
